How my yoga journey began

Growing up, I played all kinds of sports—rowing, football, cycling—which gave me strength, focus, and a strong sense of community. It wasn't just about sport. I loved exploring nature with hikes, sea swims and rock climbing.

When I moved to London for university and work, it became harder to stay active. I found yoga at my local gym as a way to fill the gap. It quickly became my way of coping with the stress of city life.

With consistent practice, yoga improved every part of my life—building strength, focus, resilience, and a calmer mind.

I tried Bikram, Ashtanga, and Hatha, but the flowing movement of Vinyasa resonated most—and I was hooked.

Since then... the rest is history (or yoga!)

How I teach

Yoga is a unique and individual practice. In all of my classes I encourage you to do what feels right for you.

On a practical level, I create soulful and science-led classes that are thoughtful, grounded, and accessible. Using my background in science, I blend eastern and western thinking allowing you to apply what resonates and leave what doesn't.

Outside of yoga

When I'm not teaching, I'm advising health-focused companies and charities how to create websites and apps to help you live a healthier life. I've worked on Couch to 5K, launched Our Future Health, the UK’s largest health research programme and the UK COVID-19 response.

On weekends, I’m usually outdoors - surfing, hiking, climbing and more...
