Retreats, Events, Workshops & Specials

Beyond my weekly classes
Alongside my regular teaching schedule, I also host a range of events, workshops, retreats, and special sessions throughout the year. 

Special classes

Longer sessions (90 minutes to 2 hours) thoughtfully themed around the seasons or a particular focus. Twice a year, I run charity specials where 50% of ticket sales (not just profit) go directly to a chosen cause. Past charities include Mind (for World Mental Health Day), ActionAid (for International Women’s Day), and Velindre Cancer Service in Cardiff.

Workshops

A deeper dive into a particular aspect of yoga. 2–3 hour sessions aimed at helping you build confidence in specific areas of your practice. Previous workshops included: 

Intro to Yoga: perfect for beginners or returners
Pranayama & Meditation: slowing down to explore breath, stillness, and subtle awareness
Inversions & Arm Balances: playful and supportive sessions for those curious about going upside down
Hips & Hamstrings: working into commonly tight areas with care and attention

Events

These bring yoga together with other practices or experiences for something fun, grounding, and social. Usually local and seasonal. Past events include:
Sunset yoga & sea swims by the coast at Ogmore-by-Sea (typically fortnightly on Weds or Thurs evenings)
Yoga, sauna & coffee mornings in collaboration with local outdoor saunas in Candlestone Woods and Porthcawl

A lovely way to connect with others and do something a little different with your practice.

Retreats
Retreats are designed to offer real rest and reconnection—time away from your routine to move, breathe, eat well, and be in nature. I run day retreats and occasional weekend retreats, often in scenic coastal or countryside settings.

A typical retreat might include:
– Gentle and dynamic yoga practices
– Breathwork and guided meditation
– Seasonal food, shared in community
– Time for walks, journalling, sea dips or doing absolutely nothing
Retreats are open to all levels and are intended to feel inclusive, nurturing and deeply restful.

My next full retreat day is this Autumn on Saturday September 27.
