Rise with Intention: Yoga and Nutrition Morning Retreat

Saturday 17 January 9.30am - 1pm

📍Ogmore by Sea Hall
A brilliant coastal venue, complete with sea views and natural landscapes — just 15 mins from Bridgend.

About the day

Our theme is "rising into 2026 with intention". Practically that looks like...

  • Setting realistic and sustainable intentions for the year ahead.
  • Focussing more on goals, activities, foods & habits that bring you more into alignment when you feel your best.
  • Rather than “new year, new you”, it’s “new year, same you but more of the things that make you you”
  • Awareness of patterns & habits which can show up repeatedly (good and bad) and being really intentional on whether those serve you or not.

Yoga class

Laura will guide you through a soulful yoga flow rooted in intentional movement and themed with yoga philosophy.

Expect a mixture of dynamic vinyasa yoga and restorative grounding movement. Includes pranayama (breathwork) to soothe your nervous system and guided meditation to deepen self-connection. Ending with a head / neck /shoulder massage in savasana using essential oils allowing you to drop deeper.

Nutrition talk, workshop & Q&A

In this relaxed nutrition session, Hannah will be taking the stress out of nutrition and getting back to the nutrition basics that really matter.

We’ll bust some common myths, highlight the simple habits that make the biggest difference, and keep the focus on practical, realistic steps you can actually use in your day-to-day life.

Our goal is for you to leave feeling confident, intentional and excited about the food choices you’ll make in the week and months ahead - knowing it’ll be supporting your health and personal goals.

About your hosts

Hannah Baugh BSc PGCert RNutr SENR

Hi, I’m Hannah and I’m a performance Nutritionist passionate about helping people build a healthy relationship with food that feels simple, sustainable and enjoyable. For me, nutrition isn’t about fads or restriction - it’s about everyday habits that support energy, health and long-term wellbeing.

Alongside my work with athletes; from Ironman and ultrarunners, to Wales Netball and Birmingham City Women’s football Academy, I love sharing the science of nutrition in a practical and relatable way. My goal is to empower people with the confidence, knowledge and tools to make positive changes in their day-to-day lives.

Outside of work, you’ll find me at the beach with my dog, cooking something tasty, or on my yoga mat (I’m a big fan of both yoga and Pilates). Being outdoors, moving my body and connecting with food in a positive way all shape how I live, and inspire the way I support others, too.
